The situation is this. You can't have a minivan without having a family. So it's no wonder people were making babies just to get the minivan of their dreams - the Volkswagen Routan. And while sure that makes perfect sense, let's face it, it's also a bit misguided. Good thing Brooke Shields was there to remind us all, have babies for love, not for German engineering.

Since people were starting families just so they could get a Volkswagen Routan, we offered up the Baby Maker 3000. It let people "make a baby" without actually making a baby.
